This paper presents a hybrid model of teaching and learning that proposes new possibilities for exchang­ing tangible intangible cross-cultural knowledge in textile craft education. The aims to demonstrate how online platforms can be used creatively disseminate traditional skills ways. discussion centres on unique virtual global studio between fashion undergraduate students at the University Technology Sydney an artisanal woodblock print studio, Tharangini, based Bengaluru (Bangalore), India. workshop was adaptation response travel restrictions caused by pandemic. author argues while internet cannot replace immersive cultural experience studying another country, digital have place alongside offer otherwise impossible opportunities. explores methodology disseminating across cultures through combination in-house practicum.
